Founder
Pastor Roderick Anderson is the founder of Karing Heart Service, Inc. and a dedicated leader of Bible Fellowship Apostolic Church. With more than 38 years of ministry and service, he has committed his life to uplifting families through faith, compassion, and action. His work is rooted in a deep belief that strong communities are built through love, support, and meaningful connections.

Growing up in Mobile, Alabama, Pastor Anderson built a strong spirit of service and a deep care for others. His spiritual journey took a meaningful turn in Troy, Alabama, when a teammate invited him to church during a season of seeking direction. That experience became a key moment in his calling, leading him toward a life of purpose and leadership.
With a heart for families, Pastor Anderson recognized the need for consistent support within the community, especially for those facing hardship. This vision led to the creation of Karing Heart Service, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing relief, support, and a steady foundation for families in need.
In 2017, what began as simple curiosity became a life-changing moment. After noticing an abandoned building, Pastor Anderson took the initiative to ask about it. What happened next was unexpected: the building was donated to him. This generous act became more than the gift of a building—it became a turning point and a home where hope could flourish and lives could be changed.
Since its founding, Karing Heart Service, Inc. has provided transportation for students during critical testing periods, helped individuals experiencing homelessness find stable shelter, partnered with local schools, donated bicycles that encourage student achievement, and invested in young people through scholarship support and community outreach.
Pastor Anderson leads with faith and integrity. His approach to service emphasizes growth, opportunity, and the importance of community connections.
Pastor Anderson envisions expanding Karing Heart Service, Inc. to include after-school programs, mentorship opportunities, and additional resources for youth in need. His goal is to create lasting change by equipping the next generation with the tools they need to succeed.

Established in honor of Timothy Anderson, the fund reflects his dream of earning a psychology degree and making a difference in mental health.
Build a collaborative network of diverse stakeholders committed to improving mental health in targeted Montgomery communities.
Empower African American male students at Johnson Abernathy Graetz High School who plan to pursue a college education in psychology.
Provide scholarships to deserving African American male graduating seniors who intend to study psychology at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
The fund awards one scholarship of up to $500. Funds are sent directly to the recipient’s institution after proof of enrollment is provided.
